Description

Sweet Disruption.

A citrusy and aromatic Eau de Parfum that evokes visionary love, conceived by Jean-Christophe Hérault for D'ORSAY.

What if visionary love were contained in a bottle? One of those loves that arises against all odds, that grows from a concrete once thought sterile, endowed with the fierce will of mint, that rises toward a rising sun, that becomes as inspiring as the wisps of incense...

Scent Notes:

Head: Spearmint, pink pepper extract*, mandarin aldehyde

Heart: Frankincense oil, jasmine absolute*, geranium oil*

Base: Moss accord, vetiver oil*, olibanum resinoid*

The perfumer's words: "The two protagonists, mint and frankincense, meet and passionately embrace. The structure of the fragrance is orchestrated to magnify this encounter. First, in the top note, the freshness of pink berries and mandarin aldehyde sublimate the mint and incense accord. The heart develops floral notes, particularly jasmine, which is carnal and intoxicating, gives the incense a powerful sensuality. Finally, the trio of vetiver, moss, and frankincense reveals an elegant woody base." Jean-Christophe Hérault

About D'Orsay

D'ORSAY is a historic maison inspired by the figure of Alfred d'Orsay, aristocrat and patron of the arts linked to great artists such as Lord Byron and Victor Hugo. Since the 19th century, the House has created signature fragrances in the company of geniuses such as Jean Cocteau and Lalique. Today, its fragrances reinterpret this heritage with elegance and free spirit, as in ‘Vouloir être ailleurs’, an olfactory jewel inspired by its emblematic ‘Tilleul’ of 1915.
