"I want to be all I can be".
In 1915, D'ORSAY created Tilleul, which quickly became the House's most popular fragrance. In 1995, the House decided to renew the fragrance and turned to the talented Olivia Giacobetti, who, while remaining faithful to the original scent, gave it a certain modernity. The new version, Vouloir être ailleurs. CG, is, like Tilleul, an ode to Nature. The fragrance is constructed as a linden infusion whose tranquility is undisturbed by anything.
The top notes of this floral fragrance are lemon leaves, bringing freshness and luminosity.
At the heart, the linden accord forms the backbone of the fragrance, providing transparency and a very slightly honeyed, barely sweet sweetness.
At the base, acacia wood brings depth and elegance to the fragrance. A duo of beeswax absolute and mown hay enhances the floral notes and allows them to extend into the base notes.
The perfumer's words: “This floral fragrance is an ode to a rural landscape captured in the early morning. Characterized by a delicate green facet, linden blossoms structure the composition. Lemon tree leaves at the top add a fresh, floral dimension. Acacia wood and beeswax absolute give the fragrance an almost palpable softness that one would like to wrap oneself in. A nod to this snapshot, the mown hay recalls this raw and wild nature.” Olivia Giacobetti
