Inspired by the sacristy drawers of Milan Cathedral. It's called "aquilonare," from the late Latin aquilonaris, meaning northerner. It's the former sacristy of Milan Cathedral, the first core of the cathedral built starting in 1386, in the heart of a crowded urban center. It is the first space built after the laying of the cathedral's first stone. In addition to precious marbles, sculptures, and frescoes, the sacristy is filled with furniture and drawers and is still used today by priests to dress before sacred rites.
