'Linda Valencia,' our scent, the Linda candle flies to Rio, inspired by Valencia, the city where we opened 21 years ago.
A collaboration with MarieJeanne Grasse, the brand Georges Maubert founded in Grasse, the world's perfume capital, where our candle is handcrafted with the finest raw materials.
There are many things in Valencia that can be transformed into a beautiful candle, and we wanted to be guided by the customs, celebrations, popular festivals, and, above all, the feeling and passion with which Valencians experience and enjoy them.
A significant amount of research and nearly two years of creative process, during which Georges Maubert and perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur of Robertet (creator of many of the perfumes for MarieJeanne Grasse and other major brands like Kilian), under our direction, have shaped this project.
The starting point, that phrase so often repeated in March: "Valencia during Fallas smells of gunpowder and orange blossom." The result, "Linda Valencia," an olfactory fantasy with notes of bitter orange (the ones that decorate the city), a fireworks accord, neroli (orange blossom), and Somali incense. Our scent, our tribute to Valencia.
Top notes: Bitter orange, fireworks accord.
Middle notes: Neroli (orange blossom), Virginia cedar, Somali incense.
Base notes: Juniper, birch, Java vetiver.
