Darkness is the place where our deepest emotions reside, everything we keep in the treasure chest of our being. Darkness is every night we spend with our eyes open, slaves to a capricious insomnia populated by fearsome and hungry giants. Monsters that, with the first light of dawn, will reveal themselves as tiny, imperceptible creatures. Darkness is the hope that the same darkness that envelops us will, sooner or later, vanish.
Meo Fusciuni's Buio perfume opens with smoky notes of incense that blend, intimate and mysterious, with the more powdery notes of carrot and Cade oil. The middle notes, the heart of the fragrance, blend dark hints of osmanthus with the floral awakenings of peony, geranium, and magnolia, protected by the absolute note of labdanum and the warmth of amber. At the base, a trail of vetiver, patchouli, cedarwood, musk, and leather. In the process of creating this perfume, Fusciuni listened to the albums "Empty" by Nyls Frahm and "Ende Neu" by Einsturzende Neubauten.
